Unskippable Climate is a Chrome extension that adds a rotating climate fact to every email you send from Gmail. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage events to understand how the extension is being used. These may include:

• Extension installed or removed
• Number of emails sent with a climate fact appended

Each installation is assigned a random anonymous ID stored locally on your device. This ID cannot be linked to you or any personal information.

What we don't collect

• No email content — we do not read, store, or transmit your emails
• No recipient addresses or subject lines
• No names, account details, or personal identifiers
• No location data
• No financial or payment information

Local storage

The extension stores your current fact rotation index locally in your browser so a different fact appears with each email. This data never leaves your device.

Analytics

Anonymous usage events (installs, removals, fact sends) are sent to a first-party endpoint for product analytics. This data is used solely to improve Unskippable Climate and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

Children

Unskippable Climate is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
